Broadway Arts Festival 2026
Zoë’s painting Naples Yellow has been selected as one of the 150 finalists in the Broadway Arts Festival Open Art Competition 2026.
The finalist exhibition brings together selected work by artists from across the UK and is held at Theatrebarn in Bretforton, near Broadway. All exhibited work is available to purchase.

Woburn Art Gallery

The gallery shows original artwork by artists from Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area, and will be exhibiting a small selection of my landscape paintings later this year.

A Sense of Place:
Two Artists, Two Perspectives
Zoë Day & Niki Thomas
A Sense of Place brings together two artists with very different approaches to painting, responding to the same beautiful landscape from their own distinctive perspectives.
In the weeks leading up to the exhibition, Zoë Day and Niki Thomas will spend time painting at Lakehurst Park, drawing inspiration from it's beautiful lakeside setting, mature trees, changing light and surrounding landscape and the wealth of wildlife that inhabits it.
Zoë’s impressionistic, representational paintings explore atmosphere, colour and the character of the landscape, while Niki’s tonal, abstract work offers a more intuitive interpretation of place distilling the same surroundings into mood, texture and light.
The resulting exhibition will bring these two perspectives together, exploring how the same place can be experienced and interpreted in completely different ways.
We are also hoping to support a local charity through the exhibition, with further details to be announced.

A Winter Gathering is a seasonal collection inspired by the British countryside in winter, bringing together atmospheric landscapes, British birds, wildlife and botanical studies.

Paintings from Home and Away
Original paintings, local landscapes, birds, flowers and work from travels further afield.
I’m delighted to be holding a local exhibition of original paintings at Deanshanger Community Centre on Saturday 11th July 2026, 11am – 4pm.
After more than 30 years of painting and teaching, this exhibition is a chance to share a wide selection of work locally, including older paintings, newer pieces and studies from different times and places.
Original paintings will be available to view and purchase, and I’ll also be happy to chat about commissions, workshops and upcoming classes.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are a previous student, a local friend, a fellow painter, someone who has followed my work online, or simply curious to come and have a look.
